Role Overview

We’re looking for a UX Design Intern to help shape the user experience behind our products. You’ll work alongside product managers, engineers, and designers to understand user needs, define intuitive interaction flows, and ensure our interfaces are inclusive, accessible, and easy to use. This is a great opportunity to work on meaningful problems and design experiences that have real impact on people’s lives.

What You’ll Do

  • Conduct user research and synthesize insights
  • Design and refine wireframes, flows, and low-fi prototypes
  • Contribute to accessibility and usability best practices
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement features
  • Participate in team brainstorms, critiques, and user testing
  • Help document user journeys and interface decisions

What We’re Looking For

  • Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program in UX Design, HCI, Psychology, Interaction Design, or a related field
  • Familiar with user-centered design principles and tools (e.g. Figma, Adobe XD, or similar)
  • Good communication skills and a thoughtful approach to design
  • Curious, empathetic, and open to feedback
  • Must be based in the Toronto / GTA area and able to work remote, hybrid, or on-site as needed

Bonus Points (Not Required)

  • Experience conducting interviews or usability testing
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG)
  • Passion for inclusive or healthcare-focused design
